Meet My Hero from Allie Boniface

OK gang, here it is – your first peek at the hunky hero of Between the Sheets, Sebastian Vasquez. Sebastian is a sexy Argentinian dance instructor who teaches salsa and samba on board the Spirit of the Seas. He knows better than to get mixed up with any of the passengers, but when Andrea, one of the corporate marketing managers, takes a sail, he finds himself falling for her…

Bright, beautiful afternoon light poured down from above. They had less than a half-hour before boarding would finish and the ship would set sail. Guests milled around the open deck, equal amounts of men and women, mostly in their twenties and thirties. Salsa music poured from a speaker in the corner, and Andrea found herself drawn in that direction. A knot of people had gathered near the small outdoor bar, and as she slipped through them and neared the railing, a heavy Spanish accent turned a single word into the sexiest syllables Andrea had ever heard.

“Hello.”

She froze and shaded her eyes against the setting sun. She knew that voice. She knew this face, the body, the wide smile and the hands that, the last time she’d boarded this ship, had held hers as they danced by the pool. Sebastian.

“Hi.” She wriggled into the only space along the railing, directly beside him. Dark skin, dark eyes, cheekbones that could slice ice…this guy looked as though he could give orgasms on command. She’d forgotten the raw sexuality that oozed from the ship’s dance instructor. Squiggles of desire moved through her.

“Andrea, yes? It is very nice to see you. I didn’t know you would be on board.” He spoke in careful, measured words. The faintest scent of spiced cologne hung over him.

“I’m working,” she said. “I’m on board to see the new itinerary and give a report back to the Tampa office.”

He nodded, his eyes never leaving hers. “Lover’s Cay, yes. The new island stop.”

Perspiration broke out along her upper back, and she pulled her hair off her shoulders. Only this man could make the word Lover sound as though it was a proposition. Not like she would mind if it was.

Vacation sex can be wildly erotic…

The Savvy Goddess’s advice flew into her mind. Oh, yes. An erotic few days with this man would be perfect.

Salsa music continued to fill the air, and Sebastian leaned close to whisper in her ear. “I am working too, and this is my cue. You will excuse me, yes? Perhaps we can speak again later.”

Before she could reply or think of anything except what his breath felt like against her skin, he walked to the center of the deck, clad in a black tank top and tight black pants. His hair was long enough to be pulled back in a short ponytail at the back of his neck, and though Andrea had always found crew cuts more appealing, suddenly all she could picture was that dark hair loosed from its tie and falling around her face as she kissed Sebastian. As he worked his way down her body, slowly, and deliberately, until –

A squeal from a group of women to her left shattered the fantasy. Andrea’s skin broke out in gooseflesh as Sebastian began to dance. With an intense gaze that swept the crowd, he broke into a smile. Not a word. Not a single announcement about who he was or why he was on the ship. His body simply turned into a blur of hips, hands, and feet that moved across the deck.

My God, this man is amazing.

His sensual gaze caught hers for a moment, and it was all Andrea could do not to shimmy over and grab his hand for a twirl or two. She was not a shimmy girl. Or a twirl girl. But if Sebastian was the one whose hand held hers, then she’d reconsider her dance ability.
